Abstract:
Two types of lavender | two types of chamomile | dried blue vervain | calming & anti-inflammatory
Hypothesis:
Baby Poppie is inspired by two separate custom orders! Both of which were similar in scent profile! One requested lavender heavy and the other requested chamomile and vervain. Vervain is a Cuban natural remedy for sensitive and agitated skin, which is why it was requested in their custom order.
Experimental Design:
My computer restarted without saving the first attempt at this blend that was more lavender and vanilla heavy, but when I made the new one, I loved it even more. Two chamomiles, two lavenders, and hinoki wood are the main notes in this bar. However, I was unable to find a vervain essential oil, so I decided to go with the dried plant itself.
Data & Conclusion:
The scents, along with the vervain pieces, make this bar extra luxurious and relaxing. The vervain pieces, to our surprise, make the lather even richer and more full. This bar is exfoliating, since there is natural plant matter in it. If the exfoliation level is too much for you though, plop it into one of our soap saver bags and use it as a wash cloth! Or simply rub it in your hands and distribute the rest of the lather down your body.
